Doubletree By Hilton Kuala Lumpur Hotel

This place suits me perfectly, offering a 24-hour reception, poolside snack bar, and a great fitness center. During my first stay, the staff helped me find transport. I highly recommend it! I'm coming back for Christmas.

It is an excellent and brilliant property located in Kuala Lumpur City-Centre district very close to the Intermark shopping mall in the Klcc area, supermarket, restaurants, other stores including large sports direct and a large food court.

the breakfast was savoury and local with chinese and with outstanding food.

The breakfast was extensive and we loved the bar where it was served. In short, the room was brand-new, had comfortable bed, bright bathroom. The location was strategic, really close to a shopping centre with lots of great food outlets underneath, all the main shopping malls in KL eg : KLCC and adjoining Intermark Mall and very close to Divinebliss we wanted to see. Furthermore, to Ampang Park LRT station which is a stop away from KLCC. Everything was simply fine.

Modern rooms with furniture in good condition. Clean. Rain shower. Pool. Great restaurants in the building, amazing gourmet buffet breakfast.

Check in was slow and disorganized, there were about 20 people waiting when I arrived and there was no clear line so people who hadn't been waiting stepped in in front of people who had been waiting a long time. I think I waited at least half an hour, the longest time I have ever had to wait to check in at a hotel(and I have stayed at many hotels across the world, budget and 5 star). Also the room wasn't ready at 3.30pm when I finally made it to the counter, so I had to wait in the lounge till 5pm until it was ready (another first). The location was not great, it was right on a highway though it was only a 5 min walk to the subway. You have to cross over 10 lane highways to get to the subway though, and it is a bit isolated. I felt a bit nervous walking home at night, though I didn't have any problems.

The TV in my room had a damaged screen, disappointing!!! The cigarette smell creeping into my corner room was unpleasant and made me question the ventilation system's effectiveness!!!

The hotel's new so rooms and facilities were nice and comfortable. The location is great. Within walking distance to Ampang Park station which is 1 stop away from KLCC. Wide variety at breakfast. Tried the Italian restaurant, the food was good!

Service from staff at Makan Restaurant (where we had breakfast) need improvement.

The staffs is extremely friendly, at every location we visit. Do keep up the good work. One of the best hotel I ever stayed. Check-in was smooth Ms Shenkry is very helpful, she deserved my praise on the service level demonstrated. she does go the extra miles for us although in actual fact she can refuse. Thank you. The food at the Makan Place was wonderful, the wide selection and varieties of foods was beyond what we expected. We will surely visit again. Once again, thank for all the hassle and help you guys rendered. Deeply appreciated.

The hotel is rather new, and it under renovation, we are looking forwards to the Ground floor International food chain to be opened the next time we visit again.

The outdoor saltwater pool was super relaxing, and we loved exploring the food options below the hotel. We made it to the Petronas Towers and soaked in the sights. The staff were friendly and even offered us a late checkout, a bonus.

The cleanliness wasn't up to par. Upon arrival, we noticed the floors were not vacuumed properly. It definitely stood out.

The room was spacious and perfect for winding down after a busy day. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines, and the freshly baked pastries were a good touch.
